Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

I have to tell you that this was definitely a trip of a lifetime! We all enjoyed ourselves tremendously! The itinerary that you set up was perfectly planned. Our visits to the various sites were perfectly timed and we never felt rushed or bored! What impressed us the most was the punctuality and knowledge of our guides, Marisol, Marisala, William, and Yanni were all terrific! Each arrival and departure was seamless; we never had to concern ourselves with any of the hassles of getting ourselves somewhere! We were met and escorted and even had our luggage transported which for seasoned travelers is a major plus! Our accommodations were comfortable and the staff of both the Inkarri and La Cabana couldn`t have been any more gracious and accommodating! It was a nice touch to add in the one dinner and the 2 lunches which saved us time with our busy schedules! The train rides were both incredible and the scenery was incredible! We left Peru with a warm appreciation of the people, history and the beauty of a country that I must admit I haven`t felt about many of the countries I`ve visited!

I have nothing negative to say! I just want to thank you for designing such an interesting and informative program! We truly enjoyed ourselves and want to thank you and your staff for all of your efforts it really was a truly magical experience! I have attached some photos. I have plenty more on my camera which when I download them I will pass them on.

The trip was great! We both enjoyed the experience of the trek (even though I got sick). The chance to meet the locals and see their way of life was special. We meet a bunch of school children on the trek. It was fun trying to communicate. We loved their joy and excitement.

Thanks for the Pisca but it was unnecessary. The mixup was our fault not the transfer person. Also the hotel upgrade was well received! What a beautiful hotel and view.

We have nothing but great words about you and your service. Everything was great. The guides were all very knowledgeable and Walther was wonderful to be with and a great guide. The cook (whose name I don’t know, was as Peg said, a “chef”.

All said it was a great experience and that’s what we hoped for. We’ll be sure to recommend your company to our friends in the states. We’ll keep in touch as we plan our next adventure.

Was hard to come back to real world full of work and other things after such a great vacation in Peru. First of all, thanks for your wonderful work on planning and organizing our trip. This is the 1st time we ever used an agency, and we are happy we did so. We wouldn`t see that much if we planned it by ourselves, and it would never go that smoothly. You definitely know about everything your country can offer, and you helped us to get the best experience.

Hard to tell what we loved most, but I`ll try:

- the nature (out Salkantay trail hike was the most impressive and challenging activity; rafting was great; so were the horse and the bike tours)
- the people - everyone we met was very kind and supportive
- all our tour guides and hotel staff - very good English and professional attitude
- historical and archaeological heritage (there is only one Machu Picchu in the world)
- the salt mines
- Peruvian cats - that park in Miraflores is something they must have in every city on Earth
- Peruvian dogs - never saw so many beautiful and smart dogs
- the town of Aguas Calientes - it may seem a bit artificial tourist place, but we have the best memories, especially after that 3-day long hike
- delicious bread
- ceviche in Lima - I still remember the taste!
- express buses in Lima - we took a ride from Miraflores to Plaza Mayor and got very impressed with this kind of fast public transportation
